FOR INFORMATION TO MBBS 2013-2014 SESSION CANDIDATES
1. Candidates selected and received allotment orders for MBBS seats in
Government Medical Colleges have to join on 24.07.2013 with relevant
certificates as detailed in the prospectus 2013-14 session.
2. Re-allotment will be done only for the candidates who joined the course
within the stipulated time & date.
3. Re-allotment of colleges cannot be claimed as a matter of right.
4. Candidates are advised to view the websites www.tnhealth.org and
www.tn.gov.in regarding the counseling schedule (Date/Time) for Reallotment
between Government Medical Colleges. No individual
intimation will be sent to candidates.
5. Candidates should bring a DD drawn in favour of “Secretary, Selection
Committee, Chennai-10” for Rs.500/- as processing fee.
6. Candidates seeking the Re-allotment should bring Admission slip or
Bonafide Certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution.
7. Candidates shall attend the counseling along with one of the parent.
8. Candidates are advised to be present 1 hour prior to the commencement of
session.
9. Candidates should attend the counseling at their own cost.
10. This intimation of counseling does not guarantee re-allotment.
11. Re-allotment will be done according to merit and community in which the
vacancy arises.
12. Counseling will be done for the vacancies arising out of Re-allotment and
consequential vacancies will also be considered for Re-allotment based on
merit and community.
13. Re-allotment is subject to availability of seats in various categories such as
OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DC/SC/SCA/ST at their turn only as per the counseling
schedule. Vacancies that arise after their turn cannot be claimed.
14. Candidates shall only opt for the vacancies available at their turn.
15. If candidates do not attend counseling for Re-allotment, it will be presumed
that they do not require Re-allotment and are willing to pursue the studies in
the existing institution itself.

Candidates can choose the options for payment and deposit the fees.

All the candidates who have deposited the fees within this time have to download their allotment letter from the admission website on July 13, 2013 and report to the respective Dean’s office on July 15, 2013 with the allotment letter and documents listed there. The allotment letter can be downloaded by entering the registration number, date of birth and SBI transaction ID beginning with DU issued to them at the time of admission fee submission.

SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM (SWS) OF ALLOTMENT TO POST GRADUATE
MEDICAL DEGREE / DIPLOMA COURSES, KERALA - 2013

The activities related to the Single Window System of allotment to Post Graduate
Medical Degree/Diploma Courses for the year 2013 will commence from 07.07.2013
(Sunday).
The General Quota candidates included in the merit list and category lists prepared
and published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on the basis of the Kerala
State Rank list of NEET-PG 2012 provided by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and
the Service Quota candidates included in the Rank lists prepared by the Heads of
Departments concerned on the basis of service seniority among the qualified candidates in
NEET-PG 2012, can register their options on the Website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from
07.07.2013 to 09.07.2013, 5 pm. Candidates who do not register their options within the
stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances.
Before registering their options, the candidates can download and take the printout
of the Admit card by providing the details such as Application No., Date of Birth, NEET-PG
2012 Testing ID and the Password created at the time of submission of online application.
The Admit Card bears a Roll Number and a Key Number which the candidate can use for
option entry process. The Roll Number and Key Number are candidate specific which are
available only to the candidates and should not be disclosed to others who may misuse this,
for which the CEE/Government will not be responsible.
The list of Medical Colleges/Courses to which the Commissioner for Entrance
Examinations makes allotment is provided in the Home page of the candidate. Candidates
can give options as per their priority of the Course-College combinations in the option list. A
candidate need only give options to a Course-College combination if he/she is sure to join
the course and college, if allotted. Options registered online alone will be considered for
allotment to the courses. Options sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance
Examinations via Post/Fax/E-mail will not be processed /considered for allotment to the
courses.

A print out of the online cancellation request has to be taken, signed by the candidate and parent, attested by the Principal of the College where admission was taken and forwarded to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001, so as to reach the office on or before 5.00 pm on 09.07.2013 by speed post or by hand delivery. Such candidates will lose their current allotment and all higher options and will not be considered for the 2nd allotment. Request for cancellation received by fax or email will not be considered on any account. Request for re-consideration of allotment or options lost consequent to cancellation also will not be considered. (i) For Full Time MBA courses: A candidate who has passed any under graduate examination or equivalent examination (herein after referred to as
the “qualifying examination” or “Q. E.” in short) and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the
years is eligible for admission to MBA courses. 45% of marks in both Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates.
(ii) For Part Time MBA courses: A candidate who has passed any under graduate examination or equivalent examination (herein after referred to
as the “qualifying examination” or “Q. E.” in short) and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the
years is eligible for admission to MBA courses. 45% of marks in both Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates. In addition to this
candidate after obtaining the complete degree, must have worked for not less than three years before the issue of notification for the relevant
year, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the
candidate seeks admission.
b) For MCA;
A candidate who has passed any under graduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or
Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subject and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50%
marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to MCA courses. 45% of marks in both Q. E. in case of SC, ST and
Category-I candidates.
Provided that in respect of candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified above in Pre-University Course with fifty percent of
marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission. 45% of marks in both Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates.
c) For M.E. / M. Tech / M. Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management);
Option-1: A candidate with valid GATE score.
Option-2: (i) For Full Time M.E. / M. Tech / M. Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management); courses: A candidate who has passed prescribed
qualifying examination (BE / BTech / BArch) or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all
the subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to M.E. / M. Tech / M. Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management) courses. 45% of marks in
both Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates.
(ii) For Part Time M.E. / M. Tech / M. Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management); courses: A candidate who has passed prescribed qualifying
examination (BE / BTech / BArch) or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the
subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to M.E. / M. Tech / M. Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management) courses. 45% of marks in both

In addition to this candidate after obtaining the complete degree, must have worked for not less than three years before the issue of notification

Based on the performance of the candidates in the Common Entrance Test, the rank list will be prepared and published for admission to the
above courses (Except MBA – For MBA, based on CMAT score). Therefore, the candidates are advised to attend the counselling only if they are
having the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. (i.e., should have obtained 50% of aggregate marks of all the years of
the Degree examination. 45% of aggregate marks of all the years in the Degree examination in case of candidates belonging to SC , ST and
Category-I)
NOTE: Candidates who do not pass in all the subjects in the qualifying examination and candidate who do not possess the academic eligibility
detailed above for various courses, will not be eligible for selection of seats in the respective courses.
The SC / ST / Category-I / OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to persons of Karnataka origin who are claiming eligibility for Government seats
under clauses (a) and (b) and the same is not applicable to non-Karnataka students.
Not only a candidate who has passed the qualifying examination with requisite marks but also a candidate who is appearing for the Q.E. and
expecting the results is eligible to apply for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test – 2013.
