An excellent development. The more the decision making process is streamlined the more the country will grow to the benefit of all.
All these developments come on the face of elections and not during the past 3 years in power. I wonder setting up a committe takes 3 years and how many more years will they take to give the required clearences for mega projects.
This is not good. This only means more opportunities for corruption, illegal land grab from poor farmers and blatant disregard for environmental norms.
Looks like the PM is in a hurry to make his masters happy. Perhaps he is sure of the time running out for him to show his unparalleled gratitude!!

Environment clearance agencies have to play more responsible role and without any compromises act swiftly and not show total disregard for time and consequential losses to the nation. Land acquisition should be beneficial to land owners and farmers.
