15% quota for poor in private schools GD Topic

People's View about "15% quota for poor in private schools"

Very good step if materialize, now a days education is money play not caliber like earlier days. The private schools are like shopping mall; that's why value has gone down.

Why are you killing private business of schooling instead of constructing well planned government scools.

A Politican can bring chane to his/her vote bank only , not society .

Private scholls should be made to stand on the commitments they made to govt before acquiring the subsidised land.

Making a statement is easy. Implementation is hard. Seats will disappear like hot-cakes. As long as the rich and the powerful are there, there is seldom any chance for the poor.

WHEN WILL THESE JOKERS GROW .Give them opportunites from pre school - by charging no fee and providing nuetricious food etc and even financial support - but quota is inviting mediocracy .

Nice Step, but why only Delhi? Why not other cities also to follow the same.

I think the need of the hour is to improve the infrastructure and the quality of the existing government schools to the standards of private schools. There are thousands of well qualified teachers who are yet to find employment. let the government utilize them, and upgrade existing government schools.

Kangress is always creating poor/bpl/minority/daliths in different religion and cast. They are always stood for these people to populate more and get their votes. Jai ho jai ho

Why can't the Govt start better schools, colleges and hospitals?
